I swim because the land is not my ground. I swim because I can be isolated with the outside world. I swim because I am the only human in this alternate world of the blue. I swim because I know that I can truly be myself in the water, and I wouldn’t give that up for anything else. I started swimming at the age of five; since then I knew this was my passion. Currently, I swim in Las Vegas Swim Club which is an organization that promotes competitiveness for the youth. My main stroke is the freestyle also known as the front crawl, due to their ease of maintaining a fast speed. In the near future, I would like to swim for my dream school, Stanford.
