Paul Buchanan is a graphic design major at West CTA. He says that his passion is “creating images that make people feel something and inspire them to do make something.” He plans on trying to get into a college like the Art Institute of San Diego to further his knowledge in art and graphic design. When asked what his roots or foundation was he responded by saying “my personality and who I am is heavily based on the southern heritage of my family and my religion. Without that I wouldn’t be who I am. The same goes for my friends. If my friends weren’t who they were I wouldn’t be where I am today.” He loves the concept of vintage and retro design and art. He says his main influence of his decisions are his close knit group of friends at school and at his church. He says he lives for making people happy, and art is one of the ways he does it.
