I’m not someone whose social or outgoing. I’m quiet and shy until I’m friends with someone. My whole life I’ve always wanted to be more outgoing so I wouldn’t have to the fear of standing in front of a class, or the fear of being called on by the teacher. I wanted to make more friends so I would be comfortable with them at my side. Coming to WCTA, I’m still shy at some times, but I’ve made friends who make me happy, and who make me comfortable. It doesn’t matter anymore that I’m scared of being called on. What matters is that my friends shape who I am now, and they’re my happiness.
