Max has lived in Las Vegas for all of her life. She spent her early childhood in North Las Vegas than at the age of 7 she moved to the Spring Valley area which she prefers to the latter. Her household is made of her Father and Mother which she says she is very privileged to have and 2 step-siblings and 1 full sibling. As time went on the family grew to include her nephews and niece. She says that she in a way raised herself as her baby spot was taken by her niece. Like most of us, elementary was a blur of lessons, laughter and wishing to be older which most of us wish we could take back because growth brings on another set of problems. Max’s biggest blessing and a curse was her self realization that brought to her insight to find her crowd of friends but also made her more aware of her depression, which is even harder in the middle school age because everyone is changing so rapidly. She says as she grew up and was able to discover herself more, the sadness went away but sometimes comes back when in rough times. In this time of sophomore year, she would not only describe her style as “edgy but still, a dad”. But she is truly happy and has goals to become a cosmetologist and trickle into something in the film industry. In the future, she does want to leave Nevada and move somewhere picturesque. Get married and have a couple of kids.
