What are you planning to do after high school?

After high school, Maya is planning on joining the Israeli army, or the IDF (Israeli Defense Force). She was born and raised in Israel, and can speak hebrew, but she feels like she’s starting to lose it. Her mom and dad were both in the Israeli army, so she feels as though she needs to continue into the army. Maya thinks that enrolling in the Israeli army, she will be more connected to the culture and Israel, and would really like the experience, as well as it would allow her to sharpen up her hebrew. After finishing her time in the IDF for 2 years Maya would like to attend UCLA and later on, law school to become a criminal justice lawyer.
