Leonardo is a 14 year old boy from the San Francisco bay area who wants to share his message

to the world through his paintings. He comes from a family of painters so it's no surprise he has

an affinity for the craft. His earliest inspiration was his uncle; he truly introduced Leonardo into

the world of art. Leonardo draws his creative style and piece inspiration from the street artist

Banksy but he adds a more mystical flair. His big dream is to one day have a mural on Fremont

Street depicting a dragon battling a tiger; he chose to paint a dragon battling a tiger because his

uncle, the one who introduced him to the awe inspiring world of art, loves tigers. He is also

painting this battle because in old legend dragons and tigers are said to be equal to each other

yet they still fight and battle even though one will never truly win. Leonardo wants to inspire and

light a fire in the hearts of people by telling them through the painting that “It’s ok to be faced

with hardships and be unsure if you can overcome them, the only thing that matters is that you

faced the situation whatever it may be good or bad and you fought with all your might until you

got a desirable outcome.”
