Jared is a sophomore in the engineering program at West Career and Technical Academy.

He chose to be in the engineering program because, he said, “I like the field and I’m interested in

being a part of it.” Other than engineering, he has other interests like soccer, which he plays non

competitively, and videogames, like Rocket League and FIFA. His dream school is

Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and plans to become a successful engineer and

make a good living out of it in the future. As for Jared’s family life, he lives with his mom, dad,

his one sister, and his pet bird. Jared’s favorite memory would probably be his elementary school

years because, “It wasn’t a lot of stress to deal with and I could just have fun at school.” His

biggest influence in life is Argentinian Football Player, Leo Messi, because, “He’s very dedicated

to his work and always strides forward and I admire that.” Jared would describe himself as a

calm, polite, hardworking, and proud person. This is the story of Jared, a human of West Career
