The person that I interviewed for the Humans of WCTA Project was Ashlee Mangusing. The little

time that I got to spend with Mangusing was a blast. We took a bunch of pictures together and

really got to know one another. Some of Mangusing’s hobbies are baking, drawing, playing

video games, and listening to music. She likes to listen to all types of music genres. She has

also played over fifteen instruments. Her favorite movie is “Princess and the Frog.” An important

story that Mangusing shared with me was when she was little and had gotten anaphylaxis

towards peanuts. Anaphylaxis is a severe allergic reaction when you get close or eat something

you are allergic to. When Mangusing was a baby her mother had gotten close to her not

knowing she was allergic to peanuts and she started to break out and swell up immediately.

After doing so, she was rushed to the hospital where the nurses forgot to give her oxygen

causing her to go into an epileptic shock. Everyone had noticed immediately and did everything

they could to get her stable. After some time Ashlee had regained stability in her system. After

this traumatic event had occurred Ashlee has managed to keep a positive and charming

personality and I am so glad I got to meet her through this project.
